This movie starts out in 2004 in Tokyo. A lady sees something strange in the garbage that is outside. Then it goes back to the United States. The mom seems a little freaked out. Not sure why.
Now we are in 2006. New family. The mom is looking for her son who is trying to finish something that him and his dad were doing. He is no longer around. They are moving and are both scared. He counts to five when he is scared. She is a police officer.
There seems to be a crime in the woods. Her and her partner are on the scene. She is new to the case. The other officers relate it to another case that has happened. When she gets home, she goes to google and looks up the address. Another officer tells her to put the case up because another officer worked the case but never stepped foot in the house.
She goes to the house. She thinks she hears something. So, what does she do? Goes for the handle and opens the door. It is dark inside. She calls out. She walks around and finds someone sitting.
There seems to be someone else in the house with them. The other lady is asking for help and the officer walks away from her. Only to find another body. She calls for back up.
Her partner at work tries to tell her about the house. She says it is haunted but does not believe it. When she gets back to work. She looks back at the case.
There is a family to be. A dad and a mom that is pregnant. They are realtors. He stops by the house to drop papers off. No one is there. But there is someone. They get back to there place. He thinks he hears something. He goes back to the house and a little girl is there. Her nose starts to bleed. He goes inside to help her. He is trying to find her parents.
It then goes back to the officer. She is in the bathroom and someone holds her head under water. When she gets up, there is no one there. This movie seems to be getting a little better as it keeps going. She goes to find a officer that worked the case. She finds him in the mental hospital. That is where he tells her the house is grudge. He sees her and tells the lady that she went in the house.
She then goes back to find the tapes from that case. The other officer thinks that someone brought the curse back from Tokyo. Then it made her kill her family. The lady officer starts seeing things. Seems like the Feds took over the case. Seems as if everyone is dying all because of the house. She wants to get away, she tries to get away. She is for sure seeing things now. She is going to try and stop it. She wants to keep her son safe. But will she stop it?
What I think:
To me this movie was not as scary as I thought it was going to be. It had its moments but nothing to bad. It did get better as it went on.
